The Quiet Corner Sci-Fi & Comic Experience found its humble beginnings in a different time. Our first year was in January of 2020, when a global pandemic was nothing more than a storyline in some post-apocalyptic thriller. Little did anyone know that within two months of this event - an event advertised as like nothing else in 2020 - we would be seen as the only comic convention-style event for most of 2020.

 

Since then, we've grown. We've become a one-day pop culture convention that celebrates all things exciting and unique! We are now a one-stop-shop for fans of different Science Fiction movie franchises and different fandoms attracting people from all over Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and beyond.

 

We are passionate about providing a fantastic experience for all attendees and ensuring that everyone has a great time. Our team is dedicated to bringing together the best guests, vendors, and panels to create an unforgettable event.

 

What started in 2 rooms in 2020 at Grill 37, has now grown to include every room of the Banquet Facility and even outside on the front and rear lawns. We have experienced amazing growths since January, 2020, and are excited to continue to develop. Come join us for a day filled with fun, adventure and everything you love about the world of comics!
